Gong Xi Fa Cai 2009

First of all, Happy Chinese New Year!! Ada lambat sikit mo wish tapi orait po... Sebenarnya saya ada buat drafts untuk CNY greetings tapi entah kenapa sampai sekarang masih lagi dalam bentuk drafts in pink lead hahahaha...

Sori lah saya ni telampau banyak benda saya mo buat sampai makan pun tidak menentu... Saya pun baru habis buat dua storyline untuk dua komik saya. Pewiiit... X sangka saya terpikir dua cerita sekaligus dan berjaya menamatkan scripts saya tanpa melalut-lalut dengan terlalu lama.. Jadi boleh la saya mulai buat storyboard ni... Jadi paham-pahamlah kenapa saya tidak buat custom made greetings dan copy paste orang punya saja tahun ni... ehehe... Apa pun semuga semua bergembira dengan perayaan, open houses, red packet, makan, lion dance, cuti.... dan jangan lupa berhati-hati di jalan raya.

Be careful when buying oranges for Chinese New Year

I received this in my mailbox a few weeks ago, no idea if it's the truth or just another false rumor spread by irresponsible people. I have no knowledge as to the origin of this mail or how old it is. However just pick your oranges carefully, and happy CNY ;)

"Dear All,

Chinese new year is drawing near. When buy Chinese oranges please beware of the worms inside. These worms are very similar to the texture of the orange and therefore can only be observe if you look carefully (long sighted person may not notice).

The Chinese government had in fact made effort to destroy hundreds of tons of these oranges and compensate the farmers for these. But however some culprit may still sell it illegally. That's why we need to be careful.

Whether the worms is harmful to the human body or not is still questionable. But generally if few numbers are consumed it should not make any harm according to doctors. It is advisable to be careful about it."
